Ida Stuhr Olsen has always had a strong creative urge and has loved to create since she was a child. Although her educational path led her to studying geography in Copenhagen and out into the world, the creative calling has never left her.

Her inspiration comes from the diversity of life, its symbolic layers, the painful moments, and especially the beautiful and meaningful. Nature, wildlife, and human relationships are central elements in her works. She experiments with various materials and techniques, including drawing, painting, and printing, and chooses them intuitively in the moment.

"I dream of reaching others through my works. I have a lot on my heart and love to use my creativity to show it. My inspiration comes from my inner world, the path my heart wants, which in my works is combined with what I am moved by in the outer world."
